| Hey all! I am back! My trip went very well. It was something that I really needed and was quite refreshing!
I went to Parris Island to see my friend Bob Hillman graduate from Boot Camp. It was a really cool experience. I was so excited that I got to see it. My dad was a marine and for him to be back there I am sure brought back a lot of memories. The actually ceremony lasted only about 45 minutes and it was hot outside. It was 95 to be exact. I am so very proud of Bob. It takes a lot of hard work and endurance to get through something like boot camp. He is an awesome christian and a very humble guy. This has been his dream since I can remember and he finally accomplished it! Oorah! We got to see the area around and it was pretty nice. I mean it was not that bad considering.. My dad tried to get us into the chow hall to eat, but they would not let us.. Boo! Needless to say I had a lot of fun there.
After I went to Parris Island, I headed to Spartanburg where my grandparents live. It is so nice to be there. They have an inground pool and a hot tub. There house is nice too. It was so relaxing to just lay by the pool and do nothing. It was just me, the pool, my mp3 player, and the SUN! It was really hot there. It was in the 90's daily. I love the warm weather though. I loved that I got to spend time with family and just do nothing. I got to ride in the Dart though so that was super too!
Well I am glad to be home though. I did miss my friends and my sisters. Went to Akron last night and it was fabulous! *wink wink jess* Then we went to Kent to see a few frineds! I love Thursdays.. CF in Akron! I love it so much and I cannot wait to get to know my group better!

| Watching Drum Corps International World Championship on ESPN 2... It is really interesting. I love to watch this kind of stuff.
In other news: Madalyn is taking a mental health trip to South Carolina for 1 week. I will be leaving on Thursday September15 and will be returning on Thursday September 22. No you cannot come with me... thus it being called a mental health trip.. Lol
